Jammu and Kashmir Global Investor Summit
In order to promote Jammu and Kashmir as a Preferred Investment Destination and to attract new Investments, Government of Jammu and Kashmir is planning to organize J&K's First Global Investors' Summit (JKGIS) and has nominated Jammu Kashmir Trade Promotion Organization (JKTPO) as the nodal agency for organizing the Summit.
The Role of JKTPO is here as under:
- One Stop Office for all investments in J&K
- Facilitating meetings with Govt Department
- Liasoning with line Departments
- Events including domestic & international Roadshows, State participation in events, GIS end to end Organization
- Formation of Empowered Committee and High Empowered Committee for Proposal Approval
- Coordinating with Line Departments for Investor Facilitation
- Assisting Investors in information dissemination
- Dedicated Relationship officer
- Investor query handling
- Business Research
- Supporting appointed consultants
