Chandigarh Fair 2023 Resounds with Success, Showcasing Jammu and Kashmir's Rich

Jammu: November 08, 2023: The Jammu and Kashmir Trade Promotion Organization
(JKTPO) marked a significant presence at the CII Chandigarh Fair 2023, held
from November 03 to 06, 2023, at the Parade Ground, Chandigarh. The event
served as a platform to showcase the region's rich cultural heritage and the
exceptional craftsmanship of local artisans, leaving an indelible impression on
attendees.
CII Chandigarh Fair 2023 witnessed a substantial footfall as
visitors from all walks of life flocked to explore the vibrant and diverse
array of products on display at the JKTPO stall. With a wide range of
handcrafted items and traditional specialties, the organization's
representation at the fair was nothing short of spectacular.
JKTPO has allocated 20 stalls in this fair for local
exhibitors and artisans and the products that were displayed were:

Luxurious
Pashmina shawls and stoles, renowned for their softness and warmth.

Exquisite
handwoven carpets, bearing testimony to Jammu and Kashmir's weaving legacy.

The
world-famous Kashmiri saffron, celebrated for its quality and aroma.
·
Stunning
Papier-mâché products, known for their intricate hand-painted designs.
·
Hand-embroidered
garments with intricate Kashmiri patterns.
Visitors to the JKTPO stall had the opportunity to not only
witness these exquisite products but also to engage with the artisans
themselves. The stories behind each creation and the dedication of the
craftspeople were shared with enthusiasm, creating a unique and immersive
experience for attendees.The JKTPO team expressed gratitude for the
enthusiastic response they received. The fair provided a platform to bridge
cultures and connect local artisans with a broader audience, contributing to
the economic growth and empowerment of the region's skilled workforce.
JKTPO's participation in the CII Chandigarh Fair 2023 was a
resounding success, and the organization remains committed to promoting and
preserving the rich heritage and cultural diversity of Jammu and Kashmir. Their
continuous efforts to support and uplift local artisans and businesses stand as
a testament to their unwavering dedication.
For the benefit of traders and better market linkage, JKTPO
had organized Textile Sourcing Fair in Srinagar where over 180 traders
participated and Agri and Food Fest in Jammu where over 70 agri traders were
benefited. Apart from this, JKTPO also participated in the following trade
