& Commerce Department chaired 10th Board of Directors Meeting
and 4th Annual General Meeting (AGM) for the Financial Year ending
31st March, 2022 of Jammu and Kashmir Trade Promotion Organization
(JKTPO).
Mr. Prashant Goyal, IAS, Principal Secretary to the Government,
Industries & Commerce Department, Government of Jammu and Kashmir chaired 10th
Board of Directors Meeting and 4th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of
Shareholders for the financial year ended 31st March, 2022 of Jammu
and Kashmir Trade Promotion Organization (JKTPO) in the Meeting Hall, 3rd
Floor, Civil Secretariat, Jammu.
Mr. Khalid Jahangir (JKAS), Managing Director, JKTPO presented the
Agenda and Agenda notes for 10th Board of Directors Meeting. The
Board discussed and deliberated on various agenda items and also approved the
Director’s/Board Report for the Financial Year ending 31st March,
2022 along with other items.
The 4th Annual General Meeting for adoption of accounts for
the Financial Year ending 31st March, 2022 was also held after the
BOD meeting and 4th Annual Report for the Financial Year ending 31st
March, 2022 was unanimously adopted by the Shareholders (Government of Jammu
and Kashmir, ITPO and EPCH) of the company. The Board also approved the
decision of Administrative Council for the change of Name of the organization
from Jammu and Kashmir Trade Promotion Organization (JKTPO) to Jammu and
Kashmir Trade Promotion and Export Agency (JKTP&EA) subject to name availability by ROC and further
approval of Shareholders / Members.
In addition to the above, some other directions were also passed by the
Chair with regard to various activities being carried out by the JKTPO, to
further strengthen the working of the organization.
