Principal Secretary, Industries
& Commerce Department chaired 2nd and 3rd Annual
General Meeting (AGM) for the financial year ended 31st March, 2020
and 2021of Jammu and Kashmir Trade Promotion Organization (JKTPO).
Mr. Prashant Goyal, IAS, Principal Secretary to the Government,
Industries & Commerce Department, Government of Jammu and Kashmir chaired 2nd
and 3rd Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Shareholders for the
financial year ended 31st March, 2020 and 2021 respectively of Jammu
and Kashmir Trade Promotion Organization (JKTPO) at Office of Principal
Secretary to the Government, Industries & Commerce Department and through
Video Conferencing (VC) on 21st of December, 2022 at 5:00 P.M. which was attended by Mr. Prashant Goyal,
IAS, Principal Secretary to the Government, Industries & Commerce
Department on behalf of Government of Jammu and Kashmir whereas Mr. S.R Sahoo,
General Manager, India Trade Promotion Organization (ITPO), Mr. R.K Verma,
Executive Director, Export Promotion Council of Handicrafts (EPCH) and Mr.
Pawan on behalf Carpet Export Promotion Council (CEPC) attended through Video
Conferencing being shareholders of the company. The Directors of the company
also attended the meeting.
Mr. Khalid Jahangir (JKAS),Managing Director, JKTPO presented 2nd
and 3rdAnnual Reports for the financial year ended 31st
March, 2020 and 2021 including the Audited Annual Accounts for financial year
ended 31st March, 2020 and 2021 of the Company before the shareholdersfor
Adoption. The 2nd and 3rd Annual Reports for the
financial year ended 31st March, 2020 and 2021 were unanimouslyadopted
by the shareholders of the company.
In addition to above, Principal Secretary, Industries & Commerce
also directed JKTPO to work on the revenue model of the organization and also
work on the proposal of establishing a Trade Centre in Jammu and Kashmir in
consultation with the Stakeholders of JKTPO viz. ITPO, EPCH and CEPC.
